Registration Policies

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change and we will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests according to the following policies. If a participant cannot attend the program in which they were originally registered, the registration fee may be transferred to another attendee by emailing registrations@iastate.edu.

Seed Science and Technology Short Course:

If you have a change in plans and need to cancel your registration for the November 02-06, 2020 short course, please email registrations@iastate.edu prior to October 02, 2020 – you will receive a full refund – less an $85 processing fee. There will be no refunds if cancellation occurs on or after October 02, 2020. Substitutions are allowed at any time.

Seed Business Management Short Course:

If you have a change in plans and need to cancel your registration for the Dates: TBD short course, please email registrations@iastate.edu prior to Dates: TBD – you will receive a full refund – less an $85 processing fee. There will be no refunds if cancellation occurs on or after Dates: TBD. Substitutions are allowed at any time.

Minimum Attendance Policy

Registration fees include all program materials, refreshments, and some meals. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first served basis. Once the program is full, names will be added to a waiting list in the order in which they are received. Registration fees are due upon receipt of registration. Enrollment is limited for each short course, and a minimum of 12 participants is typically required to run each short course. In the unlikely event that this program is canceled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, the Iowa State University Seed Science Center will fully refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.
