Registration Policies

Registration is Open!! Accepting registrations for Part I through November 05, 2017 and Part II through February 04, 2018 or until seats are full.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change and we will do our best to your accommodate requests according to the following policies. If a participant cannot attend the program in which they were originally registered, the registration fee may be transferred to another attendee by emailing registrations@iastate.edu.

Part I: Seed Science and Technology Short Course*

If you have a change in plans and need to cancel your registration for the November 06-10, 2017 Short Course, please email registrations@iastate.edu prior to October 06, 2017 – you will receive a full refund – less an $85 processing fee. There will be no refunds if cancellation occurs on or after October 06, 2017. Substitutions are allowed at any time.

Part II: Seed Business Management Short Course*

If you have a change in plans and need to cancel your registration for the February 05-09, 2018 Short Course, please email registrations@iastate.edu prior to January 05, 2018 – you will receive a full refund – less an $85 processing fee. There will be no refunds if cancellation occurs on or after January 05, 2018. Substitutions are allowed at any time.

*IMPORTANT

If you registered for both Part I and Part II at the reduced rate, no partial refunds will be issued for either the November 2017 or February 2018 course on or after October 06, 2017. For cancellations, please email registrations@iastate.edu prior to October 06, 2017 – you will receive a full refund – less a $115 processing fee. Substitutions are allowed at any time.

Minimum Attendance Policy

Registration fees include all program materials, refreshments, and some meals. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the program is full, names will be added to a waiting list in the order in which they are received. Registration fees are due upon receipt of registration. Enrollment is limited to 30 participants for each course; a minimum of 15 participants is required to run each short course. In the unlikely event that this program is canceled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, the Iowa State University Seed Science Center will fully refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.
